WELLING United returned to winning ways with a deserved victory over tenman Hemel Hempstead Town.
Sam Ashford’s dismissal for a very poor challenge on Connor Dymond on 22 minutes made it a tough task for Hemel but although they created few clear cut chances, they fought hard for ninety minutes. However, two well executed Welling set pieces proved enough for the Wings to claim the three points.
