WEYMOUTH returned to winning ways after defeat on New Year’s Day, but for Welling United it was a fourth consecutive league defeat leaving them above the drop zone on goal difference.
Josh McQuoid should have put the Terras ahead in the early stages but after that the first half was nip and tuck.
Abdulai Baggie had a low shot saved by goalkeeper Dan Wilks at one end, and fellow keeper Mark Childs got down well to save from Dipo Akinyemi at the other.
