ST ALBANS inflicted a first home league defeat since August on Bath City as they left Twerton Park with three vital points in their battle against the drop.
The Romans were lucky to survive an early scare when a pass across their own backline was picked up by Zane Banton. He rounded the keeper and prodded for the near post but was denied by a combination of Dan Bowry, Dan Ball and the woodwork! Adam Mann then headed over for the hosts following an excellent Alex Hartridge cross at the other end.
But more lost possession at the back cost the host...
