PLAYING for 70 minutes with ten men, the Beavers came from behind to earn a point in their chase of a possible play-off position.
In front of a larger than expected crowd at Beveree, Oxford City took a 14th minute lead through striker Nana Owusu, who cut in off the left and struck a powerful shot past Hampton keeper Dion- Curtis Henry from close range.
On 19 minutes, the red mist descended on Beavers skipper Luke Ruddick, who uncharacteristically stamped out at City’s Elliot Beynon and received a straight red card from the referee.
