BATH CITY are mourning the death of their former academy player Ben Saunders, who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in October 2019.
Billy Clark of Bath’s academy said: “Ben started playing for the Bath City under-18s in the season 2018/19. In that season he played in every league and cup match. Ben had great character as a player, tenacious and hungry to be the best he could be. He worked hard and listened, the kind of player that any coach would want to work with.
