A FINE George Porter brace helped Maidstone United edge past Slough Town in a five-goal thriller at Arbour Park.
The hosts took an early lead when midfielder Paul Hodges managed to capitalise on a defensive mix-up before calmly chipping Ravan Constable from outside the penalty area.
But Maidstone wasted little time to respond and Joan Luqul’s deep free-kick found an unmarked Scott Rendell at the back post, with the forward making no mistake in guiding his header past Jack Turner to level the score.
