WILSON Carvalho’s second-half goal gave Hampton a deserved three points and made Chelmsford pay for an indisciplined performance.
The Clarets’ Philip Roberts saw red on the hour mark, for his second bookable offence, two of eight that the host picked up.
And the Beavers led seven minutes later when Carvalho netted a left-wing cross at the back post.
