THE Romans took all three points from a pulsating game for those fans allowed into the newly named EMG Inspire Stadium.
Bath led after a frantic opening, taking the lead through an 11th-minute own goal, before Chelmsford hit back through Charlie Sheringham. Donovan Wilson then restored the Romans’ lead with a smart finish from the edge of the box.
A few moments later, and Bath had extended their lead as Tommy Conway also slotted past Lee Worgan with 28 on the clock.
