JAKE Evans was the hero for Hungerford as the Berkshire side made another statement of intent to the National League South.
Evans, a recent signing from Hemel Hempstead, scored his first goal for the club in the 57th minute after Chris Lewington’s own goal in the 15th minute had put the home side in front.
