ALFIE PAVEY made an instant impact from the bench after just a minute after coming on to make it two wins in two for Maidstone United.
A brilliant cross from Gavin Hoyte from the right found Pavey in the box between the Chelmsford defenders, and the striker made no mistake as his header fizzed past Jacob Marsden.
Pavey’s first goal of the season also regained the lead for Maidstone, following Charlie Sheringham’s equaliser five minutes prior for the home side.
