EARLY pacesetters Dartford dropped points for the first time against a determined Tonbridge Angels.
Tonbridge took a deserved lead on 24 minutes when Tommy Wood rose to nod in Aaron Smith-Joseph’s cross.
Then Smith-Joseph shot at Dan Wilks on 32 minutes as Steve McKimm’s side looked to double their advantage.
First-half substitute Tom Parkinson then fizzed a shot wide on 41 minutes nine minutes later.
The hosts needed a spark and they came to life as the interval loomed.
