DORKING WANDERERS gave Maidstone United a lesson in the importance of taking their chances as the Stones failed to turn their dominance into goals and had captain George Elokobi sent off for a second bookable offence.
Hady Ghandour, making his debut for Maidstone after joining on loan from Charlton Athletic, was involved in a lot of the Stones’ attacks in the first half. His best opportunity came on 30 minutes when Regan Booty slipped the ball into Ghandour but Stuart Nelson was smartly off his line and made a good block.
