CLINCIAL St Albans City can thank their finishing power for this hard-fought victory over Hampton & Richmond Borough at Clarence Park which helps keep up their push for the play-offs.
Both teams started brightly in as Hampton’s Zach Dronfield had two efforts saved by Boyce- Clarke Coniah.
But, on the half hour, the hosts took the lead as a lovely pass just outside the penalty found Liam Sole who slotted it brilliantly in the top corner but were dealt with a blow as Bayley Brown went off.
