CHELMSFORD recorded back-toback home wins for the first time this season with a victory over Bath City thanks to Tom Blackwell’s first half strike.
With the Clarets arguably on top, the first time either goalkeeper was tested came just before the 25-minute mark as Blackwell forced a fantastic save from Bath keeper Ryan Clarke.
Blackwell wouldn’t have to wait long for his goal though, as he found the back of the net for his third goal in as many games just a minute later.
