EBBSFLEET ended a tough week on a high note thanks to Will Wood’s quality finish.
The Fleet lost ground to their promotion-chasing rivals after losing at Dorking and Maidstone but found home comforts with three points.
Wood made his first start since December count by scoring the winner, cutting in from the right wing before curling a delightful left-foot shot into the top corner from 20 yards just before the hour mark.
