A GOAL from Darren McQueen gave Dulwich three hard-earned points in their bid for a play-off spot.
For Braintree, it was their first defeat in eight games as they battled to avoid relegation.
Early on, Hamlet keeper Charlie Grainger was at full stretch to parry a dangerous cross from Kamil Conteh, but it was Hamlet who posed the greater attacking threat and scored what proved to be the winning goal just before the halfhour mark.
