HAMPTON extended their unbeaten league run to four games while Dorking dropped off top spot.
Davide Rodari had a goal chalked off for offside just before Reice Charles-Cook produced a decent save to keep out his header.
Brandon Barzey was denied by Huk ahead of Jake Gallagher brilliantly heading clear as Tyrell Miller-Rodney edged through on goal. Just past the half-hour Josh Taylor managed to break the deadlock, firing home from just outside the box to beat Charles-Cook at his near post.
