PLAY-OFF bound Oxford pulled off a narrow away win over Concord Rangers in the spring sunshine.
The Hoops capitalised on some weak defensive work and opened the scoring through Joe Iaciofano.
Gliding on to a mistake in the Beach Boys defence, he made light work in striking past stranded Concord keeper Myles Roberts for the lead.
Another dubious defending decision led to Lewis Coyle being chopped down for a free-kick.
