JAMES Roberts, who was on loan at Hampton two months ago, was the hero for Havant & Waterlooville as he struck twice in the final ten minutes to keep the Hawks in the final play-off place.
It was the Beavers, however, who enjoyed the best of the first-half play. Charlton loanee Lucas Ness hit a superb strike which was brilliantly saved by keeper Ross Worner after 25 minutes, but from the resulting corner Ness missed an open goal from six yards.
