A LEWIS WHITE wonder-strike proved to be the difference on an afternoon of missed opportunities at Clarence Park.
It was St Albans who started the game the better of the two sides as Zane Banton had an effort tipped away from goal by Harrison Male.
The hosts continued to put the pressure on and Male did well to palm Joe Neal’s strike wide of the mark. Worthing, going into the game unbeaten so far this season, could have opened the scoring through Dan Bowry, who somehow managed to poke the ball wide from inside the six yard area.
