Rob Small says Concord Rangers is the management opportunity he’s been waiting for – but he’s not sugar-coating the situation he’s taking on.
The former Bowers & Pitsea manager takes over from Chris Search with the Beachboys in the National League South relegation zone.
Small’s been biding his time for his next opportunity since leaving Bowers at the end of last season after taking the Essex club from Step 5 to the Isthmian Premier as well as making club history with runs in the FA Vase and FA Cup.
