A SCRAPPY game was decided by a questionable penalty decision at Chelmsford as Welling have now not lost in their last four games at the Melbourne Stadium.
Chelmsford started well as Harry Lodovica’s cross-shot hit the crossbar and the ball bounced down onto Welling’s Rob Howard and appeals were waved away for a penalty for a possible handball.
Welling then enforced themselves on the game and lively midfielder Taylor Maloney sent a shot just wide of Eddie Beach’s goal.
