ST ALBANS CITY edged play-off rivals Worthing in a south-coast thriller.
The Saints got off to a flyer when Mitchell Weiss lobbed Harrison Male in the fifth minute.
Shaun Jeffers netted his 21st of the season from the spot to make it 2-0 after Portsmouth loanee Liam Vincent had clipped Devante Stanley in the box.
Worthing pulled a goal back in the 28th minute when Ollie Pearce chested down Kane Wills’ pass and slotted past Dylan Berry.
