TOM Smith’s thunderous free-kick aided Bath City’s fine recovery in an action-packed win at Worthing.
The midfielder dusted himself down after Joe Rye had upended him on the edge of the box, resulting in the red card, and the subsequent set-piece was arrowed home.
Ollie Pearce’s penalty and Joel Colbran’s free-kick opened and closed the scoring for the Rebels.
But headers from Cody Cooke and Scott Wilson, the latter within two minutes of coming on, helped the visitors seal a deserved success.
