JOE BOACHIE returned to haunt Braintree Town – the team he played for until this month – as the Crusaders mounted a terrific comeback at Bulpit Lane.
Chances were few and far between for both sides in the opening period.
Perhaps the best opportunity came mid-way through the half when Louis McGrory put a Joel Rollinson cross just over the bar.
Hungerford skipper Rhys Tyler also had a shot saved by goalkeeper Jack Sims feet but it did not test him unduly.
