AN EARLY Josh Parker goal proved the be the difference between Oxford City and Cheshunt at the RAW Charging Stadium.
The game was just two minutes old when Will Dawes was cynically fouled out wide, with City making the most of this early chance as Josh Ashby’s free-kick to the near post was headed in by Parker.
The Hoops’ neat passing play caused the visitors all sorts of problems, but failed to threaten Adam Desbois, with Zac McEachran and Ashby both having weak efforts that were easily saved following good moves.
