PROUD David Noble hailed the battling spirit of gutsy St Albans City as they played through the pain barrier to keep their promotion dream alive against all odds at Dartford.
The brave Saints trudged through a second 120-minute marathon in the space of five days to edge out the Darts in a tense semi-final at Princes Park following a nerve-jangling penalty shootout.
Harvey Bradbury gave Dartford a deserved 12th-minute lead, only for Noble’s Saints to hit back through Aidan Francis-Clarke just before the break.
