MAIDSTONE UNITED strolled to victory in sweltering Wiltshire as visiting keeper Lucas Covolan was not called upon to make a single save. Chippenham looked very weary after playing for over 70 minutes on Tuesday with ten men in similar conditions.
The game was over as a contest within 25 minutes as Stones pressure led to an opening goal as Levi Amantchi’s shot was blocked and Connor Kelly slotted home for the Kent side albeit with a hint of a deflection.
