HEMEL Hempstead Town finally put a stop to a run of defeats with a hard earned win against playoff contenders Worthing at the Focus Community Arena.
There was little between the two sides in the first period but it was the Tudors who went in at the break a goal to the good when, deep into first-half injury time George Williams pounced on a mistake at the back.
The ball was sent through the middle and Williams made no mistake tucking the ball past keeper Roco Rees.
