CHELMSFORD CITY moved three points clear of Maidstone United in third place after a clinical display at Eastbourne Borough.
After a goalless first half, the Clarets took advantage of limited chances to bag all three points.
The Sports had a great chance within three minutes when a long ball played Jake Hutchinson in, but one on one with Henry Gray was denied by the City keeper.
