ALATE strike from skipper Baris Altintop saw the Iron stretch their magnificent unbeaten record to 13 games.
Following an even but dour first half, Braintree finally found some attacking impetus with 25 minutes remaining.
First, home stopper Harvey Wiles-Richards did well to tip away a centre from sub Reggie Lambe and then, from the resulting Tom Blackwell corner, Joe Grimwood looped a header just over. The breakthrough then arrived 15 minutes from time when substitute Jayden Davis delivered a telling free-kick from out wide on to the head...
