REISS GREENIDGE’S first goal since the opening day was enough to give Maidstone United all three points against Weston-super-Mare.
The Seagulls were set up well to nullify the Stones, and played a high press, which made it hard work for Maidstone.
There was nothing of real note until the second half. Keiran Thomas played the ball to Rex Mannings, who screwed his shot well wide. Then Lloyd Humphries put a good low ball across the box which Reuben Reid couldn’t get on the end of.
