SUBSTITUTE Adam Porter scored a late winner to further pull Truro City clear of National League South’s relegation trap door.
Defeat for Slough means the Rebels’ play-off hopes are hanging by a thread as their winless run extended to five matches. In a match played at Gloucester’s Meadow Park – Truro’s latest temporary home until the end of the season – it was Slough who started the better with City keeper James Hamon called into action to deny both David Ogbanna and Josh Jackman.
