OLLY PENDLEBURY drilled home the winner 15 minutes from time for ten-man Farnborough but, with Aveley beating Bath, their route to the play-offs was blocked at the final hurdle.
The Terras, free from relegation fears, only had eyes for a first goal under returning boss Mark Molesley, having drawn a blank on their previous four outings.
