Rafa Ramos and Jordan Ragguette sign for Salisbury

have signed two players who shone against them last season.

Ramos’ brace contributed to Boro’ knocking Salisbury out of the last year. He scored 12 goals in for Gosport, who were knocked out by Salisbury in the play-offs.

Manager Brian Dutton told the club’s official website:

“I’m delighted to secure the big man Rafa Ramos for next season. He was a player we came up against on four occasions last season for Gosport Borough, and he was a thorn in our side each time.

“He adds a different dimension to our attack, being 6ft 3 and very powerful, and he scored 28 goals in all competitions last season, which is a fantastic return.

“I’m sure the Salisbury fans will welcome him and enjoy his contribution next season.”

The former and forward has been joined in Wiltshire by Jordan Ragguette.

The versatile left-sided player was at last term and another who faced Salisbury in the play-offs, appearing in the final for Jimmy Ball’s side.

A former St Vincent and Grenadines U21 international, Ragguette impressed Dutton who told the club website he expects him to be a ‘fans favourite’.

Salisbury will be competing in next season for the first time since the club’s reform in 2015.
