Sam Dreyer has followed in his father’s footsteps by securing a move to Torquay United.
John Dreyer represented the Gulls in the 1984/85 season on loan from Oxford United in a career which took in nearly 500 Football League appearances.
Centre-back Sam started at Stevenage before moving on to Peterborough United, enjoying loan spells at Biggleswade, Hendon, Bedford Town and Hampton & Richmond Borough, where he made 16 outings last term in National League South.
He’s signed alongside striker Jadyn Crosbie, who has stepped up from Hellenic League side Mangotsfield United.
He scored 37 in 48 appearances last term for the Step 5 outfit and like Dreyer has signed on a two-year contract.
