National League South previews

It’s top vs bottom in National League South as look to complete a calendar year unbeaten at home.

The Rebels last lost at Arbour Park on 2 September 2023 in any competition, while Weymouth have zero points and not scored since the opening day. They’ve failed to net away from home in five of their last six and continuing from last season they’re without a win in 10.

Salisbury beat Boreham Wood on Monday. Wood will look to bounce back against a surprisingly struggling side, who haven’t scored in their last three and not won since day one.

Their only success so far was at St Albans City. The Saints have reversed their fixture against Farnborough and will be hoping for a reversal in fortunes. Both they and Boro’, who were top a week ago, lost twice over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Truro City walloped on Monday and will be hoping to add further pain to Chelmsford City. The Clarets have lost both away games so far and it’s a second long journey in a week for them, last Saturday they were beaten by Weston-super-Mare. Rejuvenated Weston are looking for four wins in a row as they take on .

Chippenham Town will be looking to claim their first home win this season against Town, who’ve lost four from five since promotion. They were beaten by a last gasp goal against Hemel on Monday, as were 10-man Chesham United against Torquay. The Generals are away to Welling United, who are unbeaten in 12 at home since Rod Stringer’s appointment.

Hampton & Richmond Borough play Worthing in the remaining match. Hampton’s Odei Sorondo, who signed from Worthing in the summer, has just been made club captain.
