MIKE TYSON famously opined “everyone has a plan until they are punched in the face.” Salisbury, lining-up with an incredibly defensive formation at the start of the game, certainly had a plan, but after 58 seconds they hit the canvas when from Jonathon Page side-footed home a flicked-on Guy Hollis throw.
Game plan now in tatters, it was a question of if Salisbury’s formation and personnel were going to be able to adapt… The answer was no.
