A ROCK-SOLID performance saw Maidstone United secure a hard-earned three points.
The hosts looked disjointed and struggled to cope with George Elokobi’s Stones in the first half.
In the fifth minute Charlie Seaman’s throw caused havoc in the Worthing box but Temi Eweka headed over from Reiss Greenidge’s flick-on.
Maidstone took the lead in the 11th minute when Chris Haigh misjudged a dash off his line, allowing Seaman to slot in.
