WELLING UNITED ended their four-game National League South losing streak with a win over second-bottom St Albans City.
The Wings started the game brightly, and hit the post when Daniel Martin burst through and poked an effort past Michael Johnson and on to the woodwork.
Two minutes later and the visitors were ahead. Gene Kennedy set up Anointed Chukwu, who made no mistake as be directed the ball past Johnson.
Welling continued to apply the pressure but they failed to take advantage, as Martell Taylor-Crossdale sent an effort wide. ...
