WEYMOUTH extended their unbeaten run to four as they sent Aveley to the bottom of the table.
The visitors must have fancied their chances of winning, despite coming into the game in last place, after keeping four clean sheets in their last five matches.
The first half saw the Terras have more of the ball and the majority of the chances.
Jaiden Bartolo had a glorious chance ten yards out but he was denied by Carey Bloedorn.
Moments later, Euan Pollock had an effort blocked on its way to the goal by Harry Beadle as Aveley survived.
