TRURO City were denied top spot by Slavi Spasov’s late leveller for Slough yesterday.
In a goalless first half interrupted by free-kicks for soft fouls, Town went closest when centre-back Lexus Beeden saw his effort stopped by a goalline block following a corner.
John Gilbert also twice tested visiting keeper Dan Lavercombe but both attempts were comfortably dealt with.
Truro started the second period well and Dom Johnson-Fisher fired over but Slough looked more threatening as the half wore on.
