AFTER conceding an injury-time equaliser in midweek against second-placed Truro City, Chippenham went one better as they dispatched leaders Eastbourne Borough with a scintillating first-half display.
The Sussex side travelled to Wiltshire for an overnight stay but they looked like they were still on the bus early on.
Chippenham were the first to show with skipper Luke Haines heading over the bar following a short corner routine.
An impressive run by former Borough player Leone Gravata set up Harry Parsons but his shot went high.
