A FEW heads were scratched upon seeing Farnbrough’s team-sheet where the starting side contained no forwards.
The midfield-heavy formation of a back three and forward seven was designed for almost total football in a manner that could respond to any shift in the Slough formation, before imposing its own will on the game.
But it was to be seen if there was to be a yellow jersey paying homage to the legendary Oranje’s Cruyff or Neeskens to allow this.
Having no outlet up-field it invited Slough to attack a compressed Farnboro...
