WHITES’ BUFFER TO DROP ZONE

SALISBURY CITY moved nine clear of the drop zone after a win over Welling United.
Noah Coppin opened the scoring for Salisbury with a tapin. The goal came after Leggett produced an clip to set Ronan Silva spotted Coppin, who slotted the ball into the vacant goal.
The visitors’ first chance came via a corner, Dave Winfield climbed at the back post but couldn’t direct his header at goal.
The Kent side started the second period the better. Gene Kennedy fizzed a ball towards TJ Bramble, who fired wide.
