Scott on target to thwart Spartans

SUBSTITUTE Dylan Scott’s 90th-minute equaliser cancelled out Harry Gardiner’s first-half effort to deny bottom side Blyth Spartans a much-needed win against Leek Town at Croft Park.
Cyril Giraud did superbly to hold off defenders to deliver a cross that was diverted towards Gardiner, who swivelled to score from close range.
Hayden Campbell’s long-range effort dipped narrowly over 10 minutes later, as Leek looked to respond before the break.
