Clarets stun Gulls with a late rally

CHELMSFORD CITY produced a stunning second-half comeback to dent Torquay United’s title hopes.
City had a goal disallowed early on but Torquay were much the better in the first period and took the lead when City keeper Ted Collins brought down Jordan Young and Cody Cooke expertly scored the resultant spot-kick.
Torquay then scored a sublime second goal as Matt Jay robbed Joe Rye on the half-way line and then produced an incredible lob over Collins from over 40 yards out and the Gulls looked in cruise control at the break.
