ST ALBANS kept their hopes of avoiding the drop alive with a late equaliser against Hornchurch. After a quiet opening half hour, the Urchins broke into life and scored with the first chance of the game.
A ball in from the right from Giles Phillips fell to Razzaq Coleman De-Graft and the Urchins man made no mistake as he found the bottom corner at the second attempt.
The visitors were presented with an opportunity to double their lead a few minutes later but Harry Gibbs sent his header directly at Michael Johnson.
