WASTEFUL WANDS FAIL TO HOLD ON

THE title chase took another twist as relegation-threatened St Albans City held Dorking Wanderers to a point.
Dorking had the ball in the net through Niall McManus, but his header was ruled out after the ball was judged to have gone out of play.
A mistake at the back from St Albans allowed McManus to line up a shot from the edge of the area, only to see his goalbound attempt spectacularly cleared by David Longe-King.
The Wanderers took a deserved lead moments before half-time.
