Bath City have signed Alex Fisher following his release from Yeovil Town.
Fisher won the National League South title with the Glovers last season, scoring a clinching second in a 2-0 win at Truro City which sealed the championship.
The striker made his first start of the campaign at Twerton Park in a 1-0 win over Bath City last December.
He’d spent the first four months on the sidelines after suffering a horrific double leg break in a televised match with Southend United on 1 April 2023.
Fisher began his first spell with Yeovil Town in January 2018, making his debut in an FA Cup 4th Round defeat at home to Manchester United.
He returned to Yeovil in 2022 after a year at Newport County.
Across his two spells at Huish Park he made 118 appearances, scoring 29 goals.
He had featured in four friendlies for Bath City this summer, netting in wins over Melksham Town and Larkhall Athletic.
“I’m delighted to join the club,” said Fisher. “It’s been a long time coming.
“I’m excited to be a part of the vision for the season to come and I look forward to be giving the Roman faithful something to cheer about.”
